FULL TIME

All Shifts

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Current openings are for 2nd & 3rd shift full-time 

  • Full-time positions offer excellent benefits such as company paid BCBS health insurance, company paid life insurance, paid time off, yearly retention bonuses and more… 

  • The starting pay for a C.N.A. is $15.00/hour.  2nd and 3rd shifts & 7p - 7a will receive $3 more an hour for a shift differential

Job Description:

Provides individualized, plan of care-specific resident care under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse.

  • Provides and completes basic hygiene according to facility standards.

  • Maintains resident privacy and confidentiality during procedures and resident care activities.

  • Turns and properly positions immobilized residents every 2 hours (or as required by plan of care) and perform skin inspections (as required by plan of care) with appropriate follow-up.

  • Accurately obtains vital signs.

  • Reports abnormal findings in a timely manner (i.e., significant changes in base line vital signs reported to nurse immediately)

  • Monitors and documents intake and output (I&O's), calorie consumption counts, and weights accurately according to unit guidelines.

  • Communicates appropriate information to the ADL book and to nurse.

FULL TIME

7 pm - 7 am

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

RN and LPN Medcart positions available:
7pm - 7am full-time position and part-time positions 

$27 - 35/hr Range

  • Excellent pay and benefits for our full-time position include company paid BCBS health insurance and company paid life insurance, yearly retention bonus, matching retirement plus more.

  • Low nurse to resident ratio PLUS fully staffed C.N.A.'s

  • Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse License

  • Supports other healthcare team members, and the physician in the provision of resident care, to include delivery of resident care, collection of      on-going resident response to care, admissions and discharge planning and resident and family education. The LPN/RN works in close collaboration  with other healthcare team members to evaluate the resident’s plan of care and progress toward goal attainment.

  • Upon receipt, our Human Resources Director will compare your application to the qualifications for the job for which you are applying.

  • You may be called in for an interview. Arrive on time and in appropriate, professional attire.

  • The Human Resources Director and the hiring Department Head will conduct the interview.

  • After the interview, Human Resources will conduct reference checks to verify previous employment, as well as screen your identity through the State of Alabama Abuse Registry and the National Sexual Abuse Registry.

  • Should you be selected for a position, a job offer will be extended.

  • This job offer is contingent upon the following: a clean drug screen, passing a physical fitness exam and  passing a criminal background check (with your written permission).

  • You will then be scheduled to start your first day as a new employee of Piedmont Health Care Center!
